Tasting notes
The 2004 Mazeyres is one of the finest efforts I have tasted from this estate. Although not complex, it possesses loads of fruit, medium body, a silky texture, and a hedonistic style. Enjoy it over the next decade.

Quite light crimson. Dull, heavy sweetness. Full, heavy, no lift. It’s sweet red wine but not especially Pomerol. (JR)
Aromas of blackberry and chocolate follow through to a medium-bodied palate, with fine tannins and a medium finish. Best after 2010. 5,830 cases made. James Suckling,Wine Spectator 2007
