Tasting notes
38% Mourvèdre, 27% Pinotage, 12% Cabernet Franc, 12% Petit Verdot, 11% Shiraz. Black fruit with less definition than their Mourvèdre, and therefore has a somewhat blurred quality. Very bitter, tight fruit. (RH)

38% Mourvèdre, 27% Pinotage, 12% Petit Verdot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 11% Shiraz. Rich and confident and a fully complete wine. Great density and tension. Lovely vibrancy. (JR)
About the producer

Based in the Overberg, the Beaumont family has been quietly making exceptional wines for over two decades. The family first took over the farm in 1974, but it is under Sebastian Beaumont that the estate’s reputation has really soared, with particular recognition for its Hope Marguerite Chenin Blanc.
