Tasting notes
Bright sweet fruit with a kick. A very appealing combo. Lovely now. Smooth tannins. All pleasure. Hint of camphor in a nice way. (JR)

Black fruit, tight and bitter on the palate. Certain floral thing. Not so evocative as their Villa di Capezzana. (RH)
The flagship 2007 Ghiaie della Furba is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah and 20% Merlot. Black cherries, licorice, tobacco, mocha and chocolate are some of the many notes that take shape in the glass, but ultimately the Ghiaie della Furba comes across as overdone. There is plenty of richness, but less in the way of real complexity.
