2002 Pouilly Fuisse Vieilles Vignes

(tasted from tank just prior to its bottling; from vines between 30 and 70 years of age; aged entirely in barriques Aromas of apple, orange peel, minerals and cinnamon, with hints of exotic fruits. Dense and musky, with soft citrus, apple and mineral flavors. Fat, long and showing well today. This sample had already been fined and filtered, suggesting that it will offer considerable early appeal.
