Score 16/20 · Vinfolio

A very black nose (sloes and black olive). The palate has impressive concentration of juicy fruit and fine, dry tannin. A small step up from stablemate Carruades.

Tasted blind. Quite a bit of age on the rim. Some toasty oak on the nose. But attractively resolved on the palate. Much more evolved than many of its peers but offering some easy drinking already. (JR)

Very raisiny on the nose and rather flat on the palate. Hard and tart. And bretty in the empty glass. A poor bottle? Looked so much fresher en primeur.
