Score 86/100 · Drink 1989-2005, Robert Parker, Jan 1998
The 1983 Duhart has excellent color, a solid, firm structure, yet a quickly developing, expansive, ripe fruity, cassis-dominated bouquet, round, admirably concentrated flavors, and some tannins in the finish. This is a very good, rich, medium- to full-bodied Duhart. Anticipated maturity: Now-2005. Last tasted, 6/89.
