Tasting notes
Score 85/100 · Drink 2011-2019, Robert Parker, May 2011

A correct, pleasant wine, the 2008 offers notes of dusty, loamy soil, cherries, herbs and oak. It is a medium-bodied, lightweight claret to drink over the next 6-8 years.

Smoky, mineral aroma and attractive pure fruit. Silky tannins with a fresh bite on the finish. Seems more ready than many. (JH)

Rich, full, tarry – like the Pomerol before it, not the freshest sample. Lots of density there. Very dry and drying on the finish. Great vigour. Quite polished. Heartfelt, not overdone. Though pretty drying finish. (JR)
