Step one: choose your items to sell
As mentioned on the guide to managing your wines, you can select single or multiple items to sell from the Overview and At Vinfolio tabs. Once you click Place on sale from the action menu, you will be taken to a configuration page.
Step two: set your floor price
When you sell with Vinfolio we provide our own estimated valuation to ensure your wines are sold at the best possible price. However, we understand our customers don't always want their wines sold at our estimated value, so we have provided the option to set a floor price. A floor price represents the lowest price per item a customer would be willing to sell at.

You can set a floor price for each individual item by clicking the text field next to the Floor price text and entering in the lowest price you'd be happy to sell at. Alternatively you can use the Global floor modifier to add a % difference from the current market price as your floor price. This can be a positive or negative difference. You can also choose the quantity of each item to sell. Like requesting shipping the default quantity will be all the items that you own, but you can adjust that at this stage.

Step three: confirm your choices
Once you have set your floor prices and chosen your quantities you wish to sell, click Continue. That will then initialise a dialog which shows an overview of your choices. If you are happy with these then click Confirm.

Step four: view your items on sale
After confirming you will be redirected to the On sale tab. Here you will see your newly listed items, as well as a status showing whether they are above or below their floor price. Any item that is marked Below floor will not be on sale until either the market value rises above the floor price or you adjust the floor price to be lower than the current market price.
