Russet colour and amazingly rich and powerful – more like a liqueur than a wine. Really gorgeous, seductive richness. Fresh and lively on the palate with a hint of that oil that comes out when you squeeze orange skin. Wonderful richness. Acidity came through eventually but it gave an enormous amount of pleasure. Something reminiscent of the 1985 about this. (JR)
