2013 Giorgio Pelissero Barbaresco Vanotu

The 2013 Barbaresco Vanotu is the most spherical and succulent of the Pelissero Barbarescos. Black cherry, plum, mocha, espresso and licorice wrap around the palate. Deep, unctuous and highly expressive, all the Vanotu needs is a few more years in bottle to come into its own. The 70% new oak softens the contours and gives the wine much of its voluptuous personality.
