Cask sample. Deep purplish crimson. Fragrant and inviting with sweet but not overly sweet black fruit. Incredibly open already. On the palate, the wine’s youth is far more evident, the tannins compact and holding the wine in check. Pure, fresh and deliciously dry on the finish. (JH)
