Tasting notes
Deep purple colour – inky. Black plum and a bit of nutmeg. Chewy, dense, and thick in texture. Warming, with notes of desert sage on the finish. (SCJ)

Opaque ruby purple in the glass, the 2022 Casa Nuestra is a field blend of numerous red and white grapes from a St. Helena site adjacent to the Turley estate. The nose opens with baked plums, blackberry jam, blueberry, wild mint, coconut-tinged American oak and loamy earth. The palate is full-bodied and highly concentrated, with opaque fruits flooding the mouth, combining with floral perfume and approaching syrup in their concentration. The finish features faintly firm, gently chewy tannins and rounded acidity that narrowly balance the gigantic frame that preceded them.
