Some development and somehow the suggestion of dried blood(!) Very solid and a bit embryonic and inexpressive for now. (JR)

65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 10-12 months in oak barrels, 35% of which are new. This does have some of Margaux's voluptuous perfume. Round and appetising with good balance of acidity and tannin but enough fruit in the middle. If you like Margaux you should like this. Not a totally silly price by any means. QGV (JR)
