Mid bricky garnet. Meaty aroma but still also some leafy cassis notes and a touch of coffee. Pretty dry and the tannins are bit tough and chewy on the finish. (JH)

(a blend of 45.2% merlot, 44.8% cabernet sauvignon and 10% cabernet franc) Good medium ruby. Medicinal black cherry, mint and camphor on the pure nose, lifted by violet (from the cabernet franc?). Densely packed if a bit youthfully brutal, with a distinctly primary quality to the dark fruit flavors. Tannic for 2007, but with good freshness.
