A blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Cabernet Franc sourced entirely from the Beckstoffer To Kalon vineyard, the deep garnet-purple colored 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon gives pureed blueberries, chocolate-covered cherries and cassis with rose hip tea, violets, black soil, pencil shavings and iron ore plus a touch of unsmoked cigars. The palate is full-bodied and packed with multilayered fruit and structured by firm, ripe, grainy tannins. It's very fresh with marbled mineral and fruit character, finishing very long. 328 cases were made.

Dark red berries, flowers, minerals, cedar and tobacco meld together in Tor's 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard. Classy and polished throughout, the 2012 is incredibly distinct and vivid in the glass. Sweet floral notes from the Cabernet Franc add lift. The 2012 is young but incredibly refined. The blend is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc.
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon is so expressive today. Dark cherry, plum, leather, tobacco, chocolate, incense and leather build nicely over time. The 2012 is starting to show the first signs of aromatic development, yet it remains pretty rich and textured in feel. It’s a gorgeous wine to savor over the next decade or so.
