(not yet racked; there's just a single one-year-old barrel of this juice and it will be bottled entirely in magnums: Bright, dark red with ruby tones. Slightly high-toned, very dark aromas of blackberry, violet, spices and minerals. Penetrating and imploded but already quite aromatic in the mouth, offering juicy flavors of griotte cherry and licorice. This very tactile, energetic wine finishes subtle and long, showing increasing sappy sweetness as it opens in the glass.
