Score 86/100 · Drink 1995-2001, Robert Parker, Feb 1996

Another fruity, soft, round style of Rayas, the 1992 exhibits more depth than the 1993. This medium ruby-colored wine offers dusty, earthy, cherry fruit intermingled with scents of pepper and herbs. This medium-bodied, fleshy wine has barely enough fruit, glycerin, and body to cover its fiery alcohol. Drink it over the next 4-6 years. Imported by Martine's Wines, San Rafael, CA; tel.
