Score 88/100 · Drink 2019-2025, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Jan 2019
Including 11% Petite Sirah, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 30% new American and French oak. Deep garnet-purple colored, it leaps from the glass with exuberant crème de cassis, blackberry pie, bay leaves and cedar with wafts of cigar box and menthol. The palate is medium to full-bodied with a chewy frame and plenty of black fruit in the mid-palate, finishing on an earthy note. 39,000 cases produced.
