2020 Cass Reserve

The 2020 Reserve blends 80% Cabernet Sauvignon with Petite Sirah, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Mourvèdre to create a darkly floral bouquet of crushed blackberries, savory herbs and flowery underbrush. The 2020 is silky, refined and energetic to the core. This impresses further with vivid black cherry and blueberry fruit, all motivated by brisk acidity. This finishes with echoes of Violette Pastille and licorice, tapering off with impressive length and a slight tug of grippy tannins. While there's certainly a sweetness to the fruit within, the balance can not be denied.
