Pale gold colored, the 2009 D'Arche gives up compelling scents of pineapple upside down cake, applesauce, peach preserves and almond croissant with a touch of lemon curd. Elegant and understated in the mouth, the palate provides lovely purity and restraint with a wonderfully harmonious finish.

Tasted blind. Pale copper. Rather dusty nose. Barley sugar and a bit hot. Disparate elements to this wine. May improve? (JR)

Very pale gold. Some odd note on the nose. Medium weight, medium sweetness, medium interest. Rather astringent finish. (JR)
