Score 93/100 · Drink 2023-2036, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Mar 2023
The 2018 Pinot Noir Les Saintes Claires opens with a deep, clear, intense and complex nose of ripe and concentrated red fruits, crushed limestone, iron and also toast. Generous and juicy on the palate, this is an open, wide and crunchy Pinot with refreshing tannins and grip, possibly thanks to a healthy portion of whole clusters. The finish is long, vital and tensioned as well as pretty complex due to its salinity. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in January 2023.
