Limpid crimson. Pale translucent ruby. Funky, fun nose. Edgy, sweeter than some of the younger vintages. Quite burly. Bit more of a rugby man than most of these Curly Flat Pinots. (JR)

They stopped using enzymes late in the ferment at 25°C, which broke skins down and therefore tended to over extraction. Josh Jensen said they use clarification enzymes as matter of course. Paler. Slightly sweaty in good way. Sweet fruit but very pale and dry. Grainy tannins. Long but sweeter than most. Violets. Pretty and fluid. (JR)
