Tasting notes
Not to be forgotten is Peter Michael’s fabulous white wine, the 2013 Sauvignon Blanc l’Après Midi (2,544 cases produced), a blend of 92% Sauvignon Blanc and 8% Semillon. Malolactic fermentation is totally blocked, and the result is a wine with copious aromas of passion fruit, honeysuckle, lime blossom and a hint of white peach. Crisp, zesty and intensely flavorful with an unexpected hint of ginger in the bouquet, this lovely white should drink nicely for 3-4 years.
