Tasting notes
The 2019 Chardonnay Radian is bright, finely sculpted and nuanced. Maybe too much so. Lemon peel, white flowers, mint and white pepper lend an attractive aromatic upper register. In this tasting, the Radian comes across as lean and tight. This in an unusually severe, stark style, even for this site. Time in the glass helps the fruit emerge, but readers need to be patient. I imagine the 2019 Radian will always be a pretty reticent Chardonnay.

The light gold-hued 2019 Chardonnay Radian Vineyard boasts an exotic, complex bouquet of pear and ripe orchard fruits supported by notions of chamomile, baking spices, and honeysuckle. This carries to a medium-bodied, bright, graceful, and balanced Chardonnay with notable acidity, ample salinity, and a distinct minerality on the finish.
