Tasting notes
Made with 100% Cabernet Franc from the Chateauneuf-du-Pott vineyard on Mount Veeder, the 2019 Agnes Sorel has no added sulfur and was 100% amphora aged. Deep garnet-purple colored, it gives up notes of redcurrant jelly, baked red plums and mulberries with hints of dried Provence herbs and wild fungi. Full-bodied, with firm, grainy tannins, this has bags of juicy red berry layers and a long, perfumed finish. 59 cases were made.

A new wine in this range, the 2019 Agnes Sorel is 100% Cabernet Franc from Aaron Pott's Mt. Veeder estate, fermented in oak. It tastes like a Loire Cabernet Franc on steroids. Varietal notes are turned up to eleven in an inky, explosive Franc endowed with tremendous character. Sweet red cherry, red blood orange, mint, sage and dried herbs saturate the palate through to the intense finish. The only issue with the 2019 is production; there are just 59 cases to go around.
