Tasting notes
From vines planted in 1974, the pale to medium ruby-purple colored 2017 Pinot Noir Three Corner Vineyard features savory cranberry, red licorice, pomegranate liqueur and rhubarb aromatics with tinges of black cherries, dried leaves, amaro, underbrush and rose petals. The palate is medium-bodied, silky, concentrated and full of ripe fruits, spice and flowers. It has a sturdy frame of very fine-grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing layered.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Three Corner offers a striking combination of energy, focus and fruit intensity. All the elements are in the right place. Sweet floral notes, crushed rocks, raspberry and blood orange confer freshness in this super-expressive, nuanced Pinot Noir from Tom Rochioli. Time in the glass brings out the wine's breadth and textural richness.
