Tasting notes
The 2019 Zinfandel Dogtown Vineyard is a soft, easygoing wine. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, mint and cedar lend notable aromatic complexity. The Dogtown is a pretty, open-knit wine with lovely balance to match its understated, mid-weight personality.

The 2019 Zinfandel Dogtown Vineyard, medium ruby-purple in color, has alluring floral perfume and exotic spices with a core of wild berry preserves and stone fruit nuances. The medium-bodied palate is pure and perfumed, with a grainy, fresh frame and a flourish of spices on the finish. 570 cases were made.
The 2019 Zinfandel Dogtown Vineyard captures an attractive middle ground of richness and finesse. Succulent red cherry fruit, spice, leather and tobacco are laced together in a Zinfandel that offers a good deal of ripeness, but with more floral lift and less of the weight often marks Lodi Zinfandels. Drink it over the next decade or so.
