2019 Duckhorn Cabernet Sauvignon Patzimaro Vineyard***

A deep and rich nose, full of dark olives, blackberries, black beans and Spanish chocolate. Some cigar box, too. A dense, full-bodied Napa cab, showing fine-grained tannins and juicy blackberries in the middle. Tight, yet almost dusty in terms of tannin texture. Excellent length. Needs a few years to soften, unwind and gain complexity. Better after 2025.
