Tasting notes
Moderately saturated medium red. Spicy, scented nose combines licorice, woodsmoke and herbs. Soft, aromatic and sexy, with a distinctly rocky minerality giving shape and lift to the spicy berry flavors and leavening the wine's hints of superripeness. Finishes with very good grip and fine-grained tannins for the vintage, with lovely lingering perfume.

(aged in all new barrels) Good ruby-red. Spicy, ripe, highly aromatic nose combines bitter cherry and blackberry. Silky, sweet and feminine, with a fresh flavor of blackberry. This possesses good fat as well as firm underlying structure. Finishes with broad tannins and a suggestion of nutty oak. In the style of a St. Emilion. Offers very good potential.
