Tasting notes
The 2007 Oreno (50% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot) is a silky, perfumed wine endowed with gorgeous layers of fruit that flow with notable weight and richness. This is an especially harmonious, seamless Oreno that is all class. The 100% new oak is felt slightly on the finish, but the wine should find an even better balance with some bottle age. This is a lovely effort.
