Tasting notes
A bright but pale yellow hue, the NV Champagne Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Delos Extra Brut is made from the 2021 vintage. It opens with a nose featuring lemon sorbet and a fine mousse that highlights its pretty, salty, crystalline, and fresh notes with lemon candy qualities, bright green apples, and chalky earth. This Champagne is focused and medium-bodied, with a lively energy that persists through the palate, ending with a refreshing, clean finish. Drink now or within the next 6-8 years.

A refreshing and focused style, the NV Champagne Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Cuvée Pierre Moncuit-Delos Extra Brut reveals bright aromatics of green apples, lime zest, white flowers, and chalky stones. The palate is medium-bodied and has even tension, with bright acidity, a spritely mousse, and a mineral-inflected finish. It is drinking fantastically now and will drink well over the next 5-6 years. 3 grams per liter dosage.
The NV (2013) Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Delos (2013) is a big wine. Powerful, deep and explosive, the 2013 exudes depth. Dried herbs, menthol, licorice and dried orchard fruit all develop nicely in the glass, but it is the wine's sheer intensity and masculine personality that stand out most at this stage. This is a distinctly powerful, vinous style. Dosage is 3.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: February 2016.
