The Les Epenots vineyard consists of two parcels: ‘Les Petits Epenots’ and ‘Les Grands Epenots’. They are situated in the northern part of the commune, bordering Beaune and its Premier Cru Les Boucherottes. Les Epenots covers approximately 25 hectares. The average age of the vines is 25 years. Some substance and taffeta texture. Bright grainy fruit and very lively. Chewy finish, Needs a bit of time. Not big. (JR)
