Tasting notes
Aromas of hot stones, lavender and blueberry follow through to a full body, firm tannins and a very clean finish. Flamboyant yet firm and structured. Better in 2019.

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Dragonfly Vineyard shows rather traditional style in Napa, with a dark ruby/purple color, plenty of tannin, deep blackcurrant fruit and a style meant for long-term aging. Forget it for 5-8 years and drink it over the following 20-25 years.
A big, full-throttle wine, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Dragonfly Vineyard is impressive for the way it brings together opulence and structure. Dark red and bluish-hued fruit, menthol, spice, sage and mocha flesh out as this beautifully ripe Cabernet shows off its racy, totally alluring personality. Sweet floral notes add an attractive upper register. The 2013 possesses remarkable density and power, not to mention considerable appeal.
