23 ha, 250 m, 90% Sangiovese 5% Canaiolo 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 60,000 bottles, 20 mths in large oak barrels and barriques, 6 mths in bottle. Slightly murky ruby. Rather smooth “international” nose. Gentle palate with lots of acidity and real bite on the finish. Serve this one slightly cool. A charred element. (JR)
