Saturated ruby. Powerful, smoke-accented red and dark berry aromas are complemented by suggestions of allspice, olive and pungent flowers. Broad and fleshy in the mouth, offering juicy black raspberry, bitter cherry, smoked meat and spicecake flavors that become sweeter on the back half. Smooth, even tannins frame a very long, penetrating and vaguely smoky finish that leaves dark chocolate and baking spice notes behind.

An expansive bouquet evokes ripe black/blue fruits, potpourri and olive paste, and a mineral flourish lends vivacity. Shows impressive depth and energy on the palate, offering sharply focused blueberry, cherry preserve, spicecake and candied violet flavors supported by a spine of juicy acidity. Shows an appealingly light touch for its heft, and finishes on a gently tannic note, displaying fine delineation and firm mineral thrust. 70% whole clusters; raised in demi-muids , most of them neutral.
Ripe dark berries, licorice and a strong suggestion of olive on the powerfully scented nose and in the mouth. Plush, primary and appealingly sweet, showing very good energy and a sexy floral nuance with air. In a round, friendly style, leading with its dark fruit and showing discreet, well-knit tannins.
