Tasting notes
Buccella's 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon features notes of dark loam and cassis. It's a bit stolid, full-bodied, tannic and coarsely textured, with ample concentration but not that much charm or polish.

Lots of cassis, tobacco, chocolate, and savory spice notes emerge from the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon, a full-bodied, rich, incredibly impressive 2017 that I’d put up with the top wines in the vintage. It’s beautiful today yet has the balance and structure to evolve for another 20 years.
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is pruney, overripe and not especially interesting. Hard, aggressive tannins are penalizing. The intense heat and dryness of the year resulted in a wine that is over the top in every way. Blackberry jam, unsweetened chocolate, heavy toast French oak and licorice linger on the potent finish.
