Tasting notes
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa, which has 7% Petit Verdot blended, displays good ripe blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, some licorice and background spice. It is pure, ripe, medium to full-bodied and well-made, as are most 2013 wines from Bordeaux varietals. Drink it over the next 15 years.

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a blend of sources throughout the valley. Dark cherry, plum, mocha, spice and menthol are some of the signatures. Drink this forward, open-knit Cabernet Sauvignon over the next few years. This is an especially approachable Cabernet Sauvignon with plenty of near and medium-term drinking.
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley), the second vintage of this wine, has aged well but is also ready to drink. It shows the riper, more opulent side of the year and the style of the time. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, spice and new leather have aged well. The 2013 won't improve from here, but it will hold for at least a few years
