Score 19/20 · Drink 1970-2030, Jancis Robinson MW, Sep 2016

Glorious luminous tawny with orange highlights and a little orange peel in the complex bouquet. Some toast and just the right sugar-acid balance. Glorious palate – both breadth and length. (JR)

Barley-sugar colour: brownish tawny. Pale brown. High VA and a little dried out. Decay. Shame because I suspect it’s pretty wonderful fruit. Dried fruit character. Not a good bottle. (JR)
