Tasting notes
The 2019 Parvata is totally seductive on the nose, with violet and lavender floral tones giving way to crushed raspberries and a dusting of cocoa. It washes across the palate with ease, energetic and spry, as tart wild berries saturate under an air of rosy inner florals. This stains the palate with primary concentration, as violet pastille and dark chocolate tones slowly fade. There's so much character to be found within the suave blending of 42% Mourvèdre, 32% Syrah, 21% Grenache, 3% Counoise and 2% Cinsault.

The Southern Rhône-like blend of the estate, the 2019 Parvata checks in as 42% Mourvèdre, 32% Syrah, 21% Grenache, and the rest Cinsault and Counoise. It has a great, complex nose of earthy red and black cherries, tobacco leaf, pepper, leather, and truffle to go with a full-bodied, rounded, seamless, straight-up seamless, layered style on the palate. It's already hard to resist, yet I have no doubt it will evolve for 15 years if stored correctly.
