Tasting notes
The 2013 Pinot Noir Diane Cobb Coastlands Vineyard has a very pale garnet color and delicate scents of saline, woodsmoke, black tea leaves and dusty earth dried berries. The light-bodied palate is saline driven, soft and fresh with a delicate finish. Time to drink up.

The 2013 Pinot Noir Diane Cobb: Coastlands Vineyard is once again very pretty and complete because of its overall balance. Crushed flowers, mint, sage, tea leaves and tobacco are some of the signatures in a Pinot that leans towards the more floral, savory side of things. White pepper, cranberry and orange peel add brightness on the finish. Next to the 2012, the 2013 comes across as lacking some depth. The pedigree of this site is so strong, though, that the wine is attractive just the same.
