The medium ruby-colored 2000 Pinot Noir Estate exhibits a sweet perfume of dusty cherries intermixed with plum, loamy soil, and mineral notes. The wine is medium-bodied and impeccably clean, with excellent length as well as ripeness, and enough acidity to provide definition and uplift. It will drink well for 4-5 years. Tel. Bright, deep red. Spicy red fruits, violet and vanillin oak on the enticing nose. Sweet, silky and full, with spicy oak sweetening the wine without overwhelming the fruit. Not especially complex but pure and fresh, with captivating fruit.
