Starting with the 2022 Chardonnay Estate, this comes from a site on Spring Mountain and spent 16 months in 30% new French oak. Stone fruits, honeyed orange, spicy wood, and some floral, nutty nuances all shine in the aromatics, and while it's rich and concentrated, it has complexity, nuance, and length. It's a beautiful, impeccably made Chardonnay to drink over the coming 4-5 years.

The 2022 Chardonnay Estate is just as terrific as it was last year. Bright and vibrant, with tons of dynamic energy, the 2022 is super-impressive, especially for the year. Green apple, apricot, white flowers and chalk lend brightness. This bottling is maybe not quite as rich in the mid-palate as most years because of rushed ripeness, but it is an undeniably beautiful Chardonnay.
