Fresh, lightly fruited nose, light papery tannins (though this was a second sample so noticeably cooler than the other wines). Fresh and light. One for the shorter term? (JH) One of 56 Pessac-Léognan reds that were tasted blind in London for Decanter magazine in July 2008.

Very dark. Opulent, rather exotically ripe nose. Very modern winemaking but with the freshness of Graves ingredients, making a happy whole. Perhaps just slightly dry oak effect on the finish. Definitely a success. (JR)
