2023 Pouilly Vinzelles Les Longeays

Spontaneous fermentation in barrel, 30% new. Will be bottled end of February.  Satsuma and bergamot nose. Each of these Cinier wines is so different. This is radial, soft on the round and racy on the spoke. Greengage and lime, and then something almost marmalade-like in its richness and intensity. It draws you into the centre, mesmerising. Scintillating acidity, like a scattering of a thousand tiny crystals across the satin spread of fruit. So much here. GV (TC)
