Tasting notes
Full bottle 1,358 g. Tasted possibly later than it was designed for. No sign currently of the 2021? Pale pinkish gold. Smells like a white wine. Still quite lively with good fruit in the middle but I wouldn't keep it any longer – though there's that saline note on the end, the fruit is fading and the astringency mounting. (JR)

Full, clear bottle 1,364 g. Bottled in May 2021 for Domaines Sacha Lichine now that the very much higher-volume Whispering Angel has been sold to LVMH. Very pale salmon pink. Smells of the south of France! Take us to that beach … we don't mind how much sand gets in between our toes. There's masses of fruit (it's possibly a tad too sweet for some palates because the acidity is pretty low) and the alcohol seems perceptible but, heavily chilled, this would provide masses of pleasure. Light smokiness. More character than most of its peers. And probably better value than Les Clans and Garrus from the same stable. (JR)
Aromas of dried strawberry and cotton candy follow through to a medium body with a pretty, creamy texture, delicious fruit and a fresh, lightly chewy finish. Drink now.
