Tasting notes
Fresh, floral nose with notes of ground spice, vanilla bean and ripe red fruit as well. Medium-bodied with a cinematic palate, flush with fine tannins and warped by juicy fruit, wet-mineral and lovely floral notes. Superb. The spice adds so many layers of earthy complexity. A true pleasure to drink and will age beautifully. Drink or hold.

The 2018 Pinot Noir The Pivot Vineyard has a medium ruby color and a nose of blackberries and blood orange with touches of seaweed, tea leaves, licorice and underbrush. The palate surprises with its gentle graininess and bright, lifted, crunchy fruit character, and it finishes delicate and fresh.
The 2018 Pinot Noir The Pivot Estate Vineyard is a bold, direct wine. One of the more tightly wound Pinots in this range, the Pivot exudes energy and drive, with striking aromatic presence and brilliant minerality. Time in the glass brings out pretty floral overtones, but readers should plan on being patient here, as the 2018 needs time to flesh out.
