Tasting notes
Light, subtle nose. Then very rich array of red fruits on the palate, with a fresh, ferny finish. Still quite youthful but lots packed in there. (JR)

The 2021 Pinot Noir The Pivot Vineyard comes from vines planted in 2004. It rewards time, becoming purer in the glass as it airs and reveals savory aromas of autumn leaves, pipe tobacco, wild berries and dark spice. The light-bodied palate is chiseled and precise with highly expressive, detailed fruit. It has luxuriously velvety tannins, firm, focused acidity and a very long, nuanced finish. 552 cases were made.
The 2021 Pinot Noir The Pivot Estate Vineyard is fabulous. Bright, floral and explosive, the 2021 is so expressive today. Crushed flowers, vibrant red-toned fruit, mint, blood orange and spice all race across the palate. In this tasting, the 2021 comes across as so silky. All the elements are so well balanced, including the 41% stems. This turned out beautifully.
Pale ruby in colour. Quiet nose. High, bright acidity and fresh, tart cherry fruit on the palate, with fine-grained, building tannin. Juicy acidity. Very pure fruit on this. (SCJ)
