2021 Peter Max Pinot Noir

The red wine answer to the Agnes, presumably from a mix of vineyards. No background as Peter-Allan Finlayson was dashing for a train so chose to exclude this from the range I tasted (but left the bottle behind). Just a tiny hint of something green on the nose but very accomplished Pinot purity and beautiful texture on the palate. Extremely pleasing on the mid palate with just a tad more sweetness than those looking for a copy of red burgundy may seek. It seems to be on sale for £25–£30 which is VGV . (JR)
