Tasting notes
Oddero's 2007 Barolo Bussia Soprana Vigna Mondoca wraps around the palate with serious depth. The personality of the vintage comes through loud and clear as layers of dark, voluptuous fruit wrap around the palate. The aromas are beginning to show the early signs of advancement, so I imagine the 2007 is best enjoyed over the next decade or so.

If Oddero could only find consistency, this range would be significantly more impressive. It’s the details that count, but more often than not, I feel like nuances don’t get enough attention here.
