Tank sample. This parcel by Grands Charrons and Chevalières. Strong smell of wet stones. Rich fruit on the front palate. All builds towards a very meaty, ‘manly’ Hermitage of a Meursault. Masses to chew on. Do not attempt this without food! Very long and muscular. (JR)

Very ripe aromas of orange zest, pineapple and lichee. Fat and sweet but energetic, with a firm spine of acidity that will need some time to harmonize with the wine's fruit. Less dense and more airy than the Clos des Ambres, with a soft citrus flavor providing lift to the middle palate. Finishes fine-grained, juicy and very long, with a repeating suggestion of orange juice.
